McAdams

RALEIGH and CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

Design Dimension, Inc. was approached by Gensler of Raleigh to help with design and implementation of environmental graphics and some playful interactives for McAdams employees. Set in the heart of downtown Raleigh, this new office space is designed to be open, creative, collaborative, and intentional. Beyond the typical brand implementation of dimensional logos, murals, and photography, we were tasked to help create a multidimensional and tactile wall. This element is a pixelated map of the RDU triangle, showcasing the McAdams offices in Raleigh and Durham. The removable blocks have tactile faces that represent clay, water, asphalt, and grass: key elements that represent land planning, design, and engineering.

As visitors, employees, and clients come and go, they are encouraged to move around the blocks, creating an evolving work of art. Inspired by McAdams’ line “creating experiences through experience,” we are doing just that!

We have also completed branding projects for the Charlotte office as well.
