Sampson County Cooperative Extension Office

project type: fabrication , graphics , museums

The new Sampson County Cooperative Extension Office opened its doors in March 2007. The open modern architecture of the new building is complemented by as exhibit that recreates the ambiance of a country barn. Large barn doors frame an original mural on one side of the lobby, while graphic panels inspired by graphic design of the 1950’s dance along a hillside on the opposite wall. These graphic panels describe the agricultural commodities and farming milestones that have occurred in Sampson County over the past century.
