Friends on Flickr Help Make a Great Exhibit!

On April 17th, we will wrap up the installation of a migratory bird exhibit at the Roanoke Cashie River Center in Windsor NC. This is a one-of-a-kind exhibit for many reasons, but one of the most exciting reasons has to do with a creative use of Flickr.

At our suggestion, our client searched for images of pertinent migratory birds on Flickr. We sent friendly emails to photographers on Flickr requesting their contribution in our exhibit. The response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic, and as a result we have a stunning exhibit with gorgeous photos, and we have a new collection of cyber friends who are thrilled to have been a part of this exhibit.
