Collaboration with St. Mary's

In the spring, we collaborated with Madeleine Pabis, drama director at St. Mary’s School, a boarding school for high school women in downtown Raleigh, to rehearse and record dramatic readings of archived letters from the Burwell School. Taylor Bennett, Thembelani Marshall, Kendall Pletcher, Kirsten Thompson, Leigh Tyndall, and Nancy Vander Veer graciously volunteered to be involved in the project, and rehearsed their assigned student’s letters for several weeks before the final recording. The recordings are featured as audio interactives in the recently opened exhibits at the Burwell School.
